Neran, a werewolf, has a lot of enemies of which the worst is Aragen, the female leader of the Darkwolves. Even though people had almost managed to completely annihilate the werewolves, they would not rejoice for long. The Darkwolves, more dreadful than any mortal can imagine,have stepped out of their shadow and are following in their footsteps, wreaking havoc and terror as they do so. Neran wants nothing to do with Aragen´s plans. He has his own goal and the tally of corpses along the way is of little concern to him. Much to his chagrin, he has to team up with someone he hates from the heart. Will he make the right decisions? Is there even worse evil lurking in the depths of the darkness?
